A little girl Yeo has a strange dream. She turned to be a mermaid. In a storm day, the mermaid Yeo was lost to another area. She did not know how to back home. With a half of human body, the mermaid frighten sea creatures there. They hate her and keep her away. The mermaid felt worse while she tried to persuade them that she is belong to the ocean, but they did not think so. Only corals family welcome her and let her stay in their area. The mermaid like them much, she drew portraits of the coral members in various colorful appearances. While they were living happily, a group of diving people randomly see the mermaid, they hunted for the strange creature.

The coral family helped Yeo to hide in reefs. Despite that it is so dangerous when the humans used all ways to destroy the reefs so as to catch the mermaid. Yeo refused to hide and decide to appear to save the family’s life. But a son in the family want to go with her to escape. He hugged Yeo as disguising in coral cover. The people chased them and shoot continuously. At the final point, Yeo was taken to a safe place. But the coral boy was killed when his shell cannot protect him from cruel bullets. Before stopping, he said to the mermaid: “I love your paintings and I love you”. She was very regretful and cry much…

The dream suddenly disappears. Yeo woke up and still feel sad. For many days later, she spend all time drawing paintings on living corals.

She also ask her mother to use these drawings as designs to embroider on her garments. When the little Yeo wear clothes, she feel that corals are protecting her and making her happy. When Yeo grow better, she joined in environment activities to protect the sea and coral reefs.
